VINELink and the Louisiana registry must also be kept in scope. No verified VINELink result proves a general photo field here. OPSO’s official news feed sometimes publishes images with selected arrest or agency stories. It is a first-party source for the chosen story, not a complete index of Ouachita Parish booking photos. The story date may differ from the booking date, and an arrest report cannot confirm whether or when release later occurred.
Commercial aggregation may also surface a copied image. That category is useful only as a discovery lead. No commercial mugshot publisher or data broker is linked or endorsed. Payment cannot be demanded. Costs and attorney fees may follow noncompliance.
Louisiana R.S. 14:133.7 also restricts charging for removal, correction, or modification and addresses continued covered publication after notice. These laws do not order OPSO to publish every photograph. They also do not make a copied web image an official release record. Government access, public web display, and commercial removal are separate legal questions.
Direct a request to the entity displaying the image and supply the proof required by the applicable rule. Avoid firms that demand payment merely to remove or correct covered material. For an official OPSO copy, ask the records custodian about the image and any order that affects access.
Ouachita Sheriff Release Alerts

If an OCC record shows transfer, the person was released from local custody but may remain confined elsewhere. Likewise, parole is release from prison confinement into a defined legal status, not full discharge. Keep the photo caption limited to the booking event unless later official records support more.
