Terms & Conditions

These terms govern use of Ouachita Parish Released Inmates. By browsing or using any feature, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

This privately owned site has no affiliation with Ouachita Parish, OPSO, a jail, Louisiana DPS&C, or any government office. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or other FCRA-covered services.

Nature of the Service

This is a private reference that points visitors toward Ouachita Parish release records, local court sources, Louisiana corrections resources, supervision contacts, and outside research tools. It stores no official custody record. It cannot confirm a status, release or transfer anyone, post bond, file a request, or act for a government office.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use the site lawfully and without harming another person or the service. You agree not to:

  • Break a law or help another person do so
  • Stalk, threaten, harass, or intimidate anyone
  • Use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated decision
  • Attempt access to systems or data without permission
  • Run automated bots, scrapers, or bulk extraction tools
  • Disrupt the site or interfere with another visitor

FCRA Use Is Prohibited

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, screening products, or consumer reports, and its partners do not turn the site’s content into such a service. You must not use information found here for:

  • Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment action
  • Tenant selection, lease decisions, or housing screening
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
  • Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
  • Any other purpose governed by the FCRA

Links and Outside Services

Links may lead to OPSO, courts, corrections agencies, legal sources, BOP, ICE, or independent search providers. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control an outside service’s content, privacy practices, prices, terms, security, availability, or results. Review the destination’s rules before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and all content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No promise is made that information will be complete, current, accurate, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or sufficient for a particular purpose. Partner search results may be incomplete. Custody and public-record information can change quickly, and nothing displayed here is an official statement from OPSO or another agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent Louisiana law permits, the site, its owners, and its content or service partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, an outside link, or use of a third-party tool.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Ownership and Permissions

Original text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Ouachita Parish Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. Government records remain subject to their own rules. You may not copy, republish, distribute, modify, or exploit protected site material without written permission.

Changes and Access

These terms may be revised at any time. New terms take effect when posted. Access may also be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time, for any lawful reason, with or without advance notice.

Louisiana Law Controls

Louisiana law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Louisiana.

Severability

If a court finds one part invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains effective. The affected part will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
